Microscoop precisely recognizes primary cilia—tiny organelles <0.3 µm wide and several µm long—and performs targeted in-situ photobiotinylation. In fixed RPE-1 cells, colocalization of GT335-stained cilia (red) with biotin tags (green) confirms accurate ROI recognition and unbiased spatial labeling. This enables proteomic discovery of ciliary components, including trafficking proteins, motors, and novel candidates, at a resolution unattainable with conventional methods.
