Description

To understand adult neurogenesis, Microscoop was used to identify mossy fiber boutons (MFBs) in mouse hippocampal tissue as regions of interest (ROIs) and perform precise in-situ photobiotinylation. Colocalization of MFBs (red) with biotin tags (green) highlights Microscoop’s ability to precisely label MFB proteins and subsequently uncover the proteomic landscape for adult neuron growth in different stages that is otherwise unextractable.
