The Role 

As a (Sr.) Territory Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in introducing the Syncell’s Microscoop® platform and consumables to customers across the Western North America region. This field-based role requires a high level of technical expertise and business acumen to inspire prospective customers and drive sales success. You will strategically build and execute sales plans, partnering closely with technical colleagues to ensure customer needs are met.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Opportunity Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, employing rigorous territory planning and market analysis to drive growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Consult with customers to understand their scientific projects and business needs, demonstrating technical credibility and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Execution: Build and execute effective sales plans, ensuring accurate forecasting and meeting revenue targets.
  • Collaborative Selling: Partner with Field Applications Specialists to provide seamless support to customers and enhance credibility.
  • Market Expansion: Drive business growth by engaging key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other influential stakeholders.

What You Bring 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, histology); advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years in sales, with a proven track record in capital equipment and consultative selling.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel extensively within the territory (50%+), a strong desire to win business, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

You will collaborate closely with teams across the organization to support customer needs and drive innovation in spatial proteomics.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Laboratory Management: Oversee daily lab operations, maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and tracking consumables, reagents, and equipment.
  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors to source equipment, negotiate contracts, and maintain timely supply and service.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee proof-of-concept experiments for customers, providing timely updates and reports.

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist, you will support the financial operations of Syncell’s growing life sciences business. This critical role oversees budgeting, revenue projections, financial reporting, and strategic investment recommendations. You will collaborate with senior leadership and global teams to provide financial insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency. Your expertise in SAP financial systems will be instrumental in optimizing financial processes and supporting strategic decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze revenues, costs, and profitability, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with the CCO, CEO, Taiwan finance group, and product management teams to provide financial guidance on key business initiatives.
  • SAP Integration: Manage the implementation and optimization of SAP financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards to executive leadership, offering clarity on business performance.
  • Modeling: Develop financial models to support initiatives such as new product launches, capital expenditures, and operational improvements.
  • Compliance: Collaborate with accounting, sales, and operations teams to ensure financial compliance and integrity.

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
  • Expertise: Proven ability in budget management, financial modeling, and forecasting, with extensive experience in SAP system integration.
  • Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
